HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you need a place to chill for a while and get away from the city life i have a spare room in Palm Cove which is 1/2 an hour north of Cairns or 50 minutes on the local bus.It is a tourist town with very little night life but has one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia as well as fine restaurants and bars.Most resorts have tour booking desks so you can organize your reef or rainforest tours here and most tours do pick ups in Palm Cove.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new at couchsurfing but in the past i have rented my spare room out to travellers who are in the area working.I have hosted people from Sweden,France,Germany,South Korea,U.K,Australia,Canada and U.S.A.They usually stay a few months and then continue their journey.So now i thought i give this a go because you never know one day i might come knocking on your door.

i am a music fan and a sports fanatic.
I also love to travel and in 1996 i did a 35 day camping tour of Europe which was great.I have also travelled Scotland,Ireland,UK,west coast of USA,New Zealand,Thailand,Bali as well as most of Australia.

I mainly like to read biographies.I am a big music lover and still have some of my old records as well as a few hundred cds.I mainly like 70s and 80s rock music but have all sorts of favourites..too many to mention here..my fav movies are comedies..Monty Python,Blues Brothers.Vacation..etc.
