I've couch surfed in Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, and Spain. All were great experiences. I have nothing negative to say.

Oh man... well I study English Rhetoric. I like political philosphy. But some specific authors and directors I enjoy include: P.G. Wodehouse, Terry Pratchett, Terry Eagleton, Zizek, Fredric Jameson, Ingmar Bergman, John Cassavettes, Lynch, Fritz Lang (I think I have almost seen all of his silent films at this point), D.H. Lawrence, Kingsley Amis, Wittgenstein, Keats, Auden... This list could go on for along time.
