ABOUT ME

An old soul who refuse to wake up early when not getting paid for it. An advocate of slow weekend mornings, but never want to sweat for breakfast! Aspired to be a jazz songstress since little but ended up finishing master's degree in business, and working for a pricing tech company now. No diva qualities, just an amateur who sings wholeheartedly. I know, cliché! I find my simple happiness in good books, good music (groovy bass line + 7th Chords + Rhodes Piano sound = Eargasm), and of course delicious food!

Originally from Indonesia but have been living in Stockholm for almost 3 years, after finishing my master's degree in Finland. In total, I have been living in the Nordics for slightly more than 5 years. Still hating the dark winter!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

(Before the pandemic) I solo traveled quite often, like once a month and mostly for work. Couchsurfing enables me to have the local experience within a short period of time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I mostly met other couchsurfers on CS gathering or went hanging out with them in places I traveled to.

兴趣

I am always keen to explore the local architecture, culture, local restaurants, and getting to know the people. If the place is well-known for its musics, for sure I will visit the traditional music or Jazz/RnB, Soul scenes.

音乐、电影和书籍

Books: Homo Deus, Alchemist, The World of Yesterday, 1984, War and Peace, Huckleberry Finn,The Legacy of Ashes, Da Vinci Code, The Judgement Day, Dale Carnegie's Books. Loads of classic literature, psychology, non-fictions and some contemporary philosophy books.

Music: Anything that has strong riffs, runs, and groove. I am a sucker for 7th chords combined with strong bass lines and rhodes piano sound! I listen to lots of Jazz, Funk, Neo-Soul and RnB, like D'Angelo,PJ Morton, Erykah Badu, Braxton Cook, SWV, Boyz II Men, Eric Benet, Babyface, Musiq Soulchild, and Ty Dolla Sign.

Shows: South Park, Mad Man,Game of Thrones, Peaky Blinders, Narcos. Lots of Netflix, HBO, and Broadway.
Movies: Loads of vintage movies like The Grapes of Wrath, Funny Girl, Lawrence of Arabia, and more. Other than that, I enjoy thriller movies by Martin Scorsese and others.
