Hello and welcome! I’m Chung, a British citizen of Korean heritage. I divide my time between Broadbottom, UK, a charming village just 20 minutes by train from Manchester Piccadilly, and Miryang, South Korea — also conveniently located 20 minutes by train from Busan. In both places, I manage a small portfolio of properties and enjoy hosting travellers when I can. Having lived in diverse parts of the world — including Korea, Japan, the Middle East, and the UK — I deeply value meaningful connections with people from different cultures and backgrounds. A small but important note: I prefer to connect with verified members on Couchsurfing. Verification is a simple way of saying, “Hi, this is the real me”, and it helps create a foundation of trust and safety for both guests and hosts. If you haven’t yet verified your profile, please consider doing so before reaching out - I may not respond to requests from unverified users. Since 2001, I’ve also been a member of “Servas International”, a global peace and hospitality network. I joined “Couchsurfing” on May 31, 2023, and I aim to offer a welcoming and respectful space for travellers in both Miryang and Broadbottom. If you’re curious to know more, feel free to search for me on either platform by name. Just a heads-up: I don’t accept friend requests from people I haven’t interacted with yet. Travel is a big part of who I am - I’ve had the privilege of visiting around 130 countries (yes, I tried listing them all once… it wasn’t easy!). Thank you for considering a stay with me. Warm regards, Chung Farrow-Ryue

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
- Enjoy meaningful connections with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I’ve had the incredible experience of exploring around 130 countries, much of it on my own.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’d be happy to share my diverse life experiences with you - the languages I speak and the lessons I’ve learned about valuing time and money.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Since I’m mainly hosting, I’d love to share Korean meals, rides in my camper van, and a cozy place to stay for 1 to 3 nights—whether it’s a private room in Korea or your own studio flat in the UK.
