I am a Chinese girl interested in art, handcrafts, visiting historical sites and various museums. I like travelling to any place that I have never been to. I also love to communicate with different people.
I am a PhD graduate in China researching textile history and archaeology, currently in a gap applying for new projects while working as a freelance writer.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I planned to try couchsurfing for my own travel during my visit in Denmark. After moving into my tiny studio I found one more mattress then this idea came up that I could host others too. I have been under similar situation so I understand what most female travellers would worry about and how many problems they might meet when they are using couchsurfing and looking for a host.
As I have only one small room I can host only one female. I hope I could help people especially young girls travelling alone to Copenhagen without enough budget. And I wish you could pay me back with your smile, respect, possible skills teaching or interesting stories:)

Living in Europe for a year, I met travellers from different countries and locals in different countries I visited. My lifestyle and worldview changed a little.
I used to travel alone to see this world, mostly heritage from the past and static sceneries on the road, which helped me understand this planet I am living on. After visiting a lot of cities and sites and reading a lot of histories, I have gained some knowledge and lost interests in most of tourist sites or city views. I prefer to walk in each place and get to know people, especially local people with their real lives.

My preference of visiting historical places or museums helped me understand human history. Meeting different people from different corners helped me know about the contemporary world.
