I am American, but married to a German soldier and we have two children. We love the outdoors and can be found "out" year around. We currently live in Alamogordo, NM because of the military.

We love to travel and always looking for great deals but also enjoy doing it the 'local' way. We have used other sites such as this and have liked the experience we have gotten staying with the locals and getting the inside scoop.
