I want to break away from the treadmill of consumption. I like music and trying to play instruments I have never touched before. I have fun just walking around new places and I enjoy listening to people's stories and experiences. Bicycles are this amazing thing, and I am sad I don't ride mine more. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have met many amazing people through CS. Some surfing, some hosting, and lots of chatting with folks. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I once ate dinner in Portugal with some nice people that were found here. Another time I played music with a Brazilian in Spain. 20 folks came over for a potluck. And once I went to France and talked most of the night away.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to punk, hardcore, metal and a tiny bit of hip hop. Socially conscious music, in general. I watch Supertroopers and Futurama. I mostly read non fiction.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Drank loose leaf green tea in the mountains of Afghanistan.
