Since I was a little girl I used to travel- a thing that didn't change. I use to travel rather alone or from time to time with friends.
As long as I can think I am interested in foreign cultures and languages. I did my Bachelor and Masters in Tilburg in the Netherlands... I went a semester abroad to Singapore and got to explore South East Asia a bit and a year later for a couple of months to Latinamerica. These were my longest abroad-experiences.
Then I went back to Germany to study a year there and then back to Tilburg before moving back home in the north of Germany and ended up in Heidelberg.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

When I travel I want to see the world like it actually is. If you stay in Hostels and only hang with other tourists who want to see the main attractions and tourist-hotspots it s impossible to experience not only the culture but also the people. If I meet hosts I can experience the true country, culture and in the same time get to know amazing people.
And I like it just to talk and meet new people :)
I am still in touch with many of the amazing people that met via couchsurfing since I joined the community.

Intereses

I just love doing sports. I try to do sports about 6 days a week ... usually, that works.
Most of it is (trail-)running, ran quite a few ultramarathons already and I am trying to increase the distance 🤩
but since I bought a gravel bike and a bit later a road bike I got really into that well ;) I also enjoy being outside in general and doing things like skiing and hiking or just hanging out.

Música, películas y libros

I love Reggeaton and other Latin music. And sometimes to 90ies or 2000s. Fun fact, once I left the NL I actually started listening to Dutch music in my free time...Maybe to keep the memory alive. I am also keen to listen to other music, always depending on the context. But normally it's Latin ;)

Series, mostly Sitcoms. If you have recommendations I'm eager to hear them :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

Got the chance to run the UTMB in Chamonix, one of the most famous ultratrails in the world & some other great races 🏃🏽‍♀️
Camping in a tent in an altitude of 3990m on a volcano facing the neighboring volcano which is exploding several times per hour so you can literally see the orange lava shining.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I think this is all about experiences, getting to know the other person and learning from another by staying with another. I can teach a bit of the languages I speak.
I am always eager to spend time together even if I am busy. I will surely make time free.
