About Me

I really want to see the world and meet people from all over the world.

Life is not a dress rehearsal.

I live my life by three well known sayings.

Carpe diem-- Life's too short not to enjoy it.

La dolce vita- I want to experience the best that life has to offer and will accept nothing else.

Ghandi, "Be the change you want to see in the world." In my words- talk is cheap. Live what you preach.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have not surfed but enjoying hosting. I host because I like to meet people from all over the world and experience new people and new things. I almost always make time to show my couch surfers around. My reply to couch request rate is a bit low. This is because I get a lot of requests living in NYC, most of which are from people who do not read my profile and are not active couch surfers. I will reply to all requests if it appears you have actually read my profile and took time to write a personal request.

Languages, wine, cooking, running, biking, hiking, fishing, dancing, camping, museums, history, art, kayaking, crocheting, shopping. Basically I have a very ecclectic array of interests. I am extremely active, incredible spontaneous, open minded and love doing new things.
