ABOUT ME

Hablo Espanol. I'm very laid back. I enjoy the small things in life and never take a day for granted. Traveling is my passion. I've been to almost every state in the U.S. and traveled to Mexico, Central America, South America, Aruba, Europe, Hong Kong, Peru and Thailand. I enjoy the usual: backpacking, water sports, basically any outdoor activity, staying active, etc.

Can't wait to travel to more foreign countries and experience other cultures first hand! Top of the list for future travel: Brazil, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be happy to host when I'm in town, however I'm rarely home. You are more than welcome to contact me to see if I'm home and if so stay for a few nights. I have a guest room with a bed and an extra bathroom.

Generally I'm traveling for work, which means my hotel rooms are covered so I don't need a couch. I plan to use CS to meet new people to hang out with when I'm out of town for work as well as whenever I travel for leisure/vacation. Occasionally I'll write people for a place to stay if I don't already have a hotel or hostel booked.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best friend hosted someone from Poland. We all went to a concert together and they both enlightened me on the web site...what a great idea! So far I've met up with a few people in the U.S. while I was traveling for work. I wrote some people back in January 2012 when I was backpacking in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, but didn't end up getting to meet b/c of conflicting schedules. I've hosted a few surfers at my house in Columbia, SC and had nothing but awesome experiences! I'm excited about using CS as a host and as a traveler to meet more people from all over the world in the future!
