An Indian IT engineer turned math teacher who passionately considers travel and adventures as fuel for life. I started traveling at 24, and now, at 34, it has become a way of life. I thoroughly enjoy planning my next destinations, immersing myself in documentaries about those places, and creating lists of foods to try -these are activities I truly enjoy and can spend a lot of time on.

I'm an open-minded person, always receptive to new ideas and thoughts. In 2014, while in Burma, I met a couple who introduced me to the world of cycle touring. Their stories and perspective on freedom greatly influenced me. Since then, you'll often find me on the road.

Currently based in Toronto with my wife Dona, we're both passionate about traveling. An easy-going and respectful couple who find happiness in even small things whether it's discovering a new food spot near our home, or exploring a new country together.

Couchsurfing is a great platform to meet people from diverse backgrounds and gain insights into different cultures. The first CS er I hosted ignited the idea of long-distance backpacking trips crossing different country borders, which later transitioned into cycle touring journeys.

Experiencing a city with a CS host offers a unique perspective that you rarely find elsewhere. It allows you to understand and see the life of a local, offering a deeper appreciation and insight into the city's culture and lifestyle. Museums and paid art galleries are not my preference. Instead, I enjoy spending the evening with my host.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1. In 2014, I quit my IT job to travel around India and Southeast Asia for a year, which helped me realize that time is more precious than money.

2. I completed a cycling trip from Dubai to Moscow, covering around 5000 km through the diverse terrains of Iran, Azerbaijan, and Russia to attend the FIFA World Cup in 2018. I was lucky to get my trip featured in international newspapers like BBC and CNN, and I was invited to be a TEDx speaker.

3. Cycling in Cuba for one month with Dona was an amazing experience. I fell in love with her and Cuba and we got married later.

4. Me and Dona started a six-month cycling journey from Kerala, India to Tokyo in 2020, aiming to cover approximately 10,000 km. However, our plans were interrupted after cycling 3000 km and crossing Bangladesh due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We found ourselves stuck in a remote NGO in northeastern India for 3 months due to lockdown.

As an amateur photographer who loves to learn more, I enjoy exploring cities through street photography sessions and would be thrilled to share this passion with fellow photography enthusiasts. I can also help plan bikepacking itineraries and routes, drawing from my own cycling experience. Additionally, Me and my wife ,Dona have made a list of delicious food tour spots in Toronto, perfect for anyone keen on culinary adventures. Above all, I'm always ready to share a good laugh and swap interesting adventure stories from around the world.
