CURRENT MISSION My only current mission is not to have a specific mission. I don't want to tie myself down in any definite set plans. The only thing that I'm striving torwards is financial stability, but I believe I'm not the only one with that in mind. ABOUT ME I always feel like there's a lot to say about me, then, when I'm afforded the opportunity to do so, I draw a blank. However, on a whim, here goes. I love the idea of travel. There are so many things that draw me to it, the new people, tastes, sights, smells, and everything else that an adventure combines together. I think laughter is the most important part of life, if there is ever a day that you can't laugh, you might as well give up; Nothing is so serious that it can't be fixed in time. I would love to be able to travel more, though, like most of the world, more of my time than I would like is dedicated to work. In spare time, however, I do enjoy to write. The idea of the endless palette of expression that is the brain intrigues me for some reason, and I enjoy expressing it in words. I would love to play the piano, but as of yet, have not taken the time to learn. I also am interested in art, abstract more than any. I am not an artist though, the extent of my ability stops at a somewhat feeble stick figure. One that really has no body and is just a cirlce with arms and legs. We all have to know our limitations i suppose. PHILOSOPHY My personal philosophy is simple, just be happy. It's not always easy, sometimes it's near impossible, but it's always worth it in the end. You have to be happy with yourself in order for other people to feel the same. Socrates said it best with, "Know Thyself".

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING When asked about participation I would guess that we're speaking about Surfing. To be honest, I haven't yet participated much. I found out about the site through conversation with a friend and became interested. Upon checking it out I instantly liked the idea, but I got sidetracked with the daily grind of life a little. Now, here I am ready to begin in participation. :-) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have never had any with the site, but there have been plenty of instances of hitch hiking from here to there for fun. Road trips inspired by nothing with no real destination. I've drove across country on a days notice just to follow a dream. I've slept in the woods, on the street, in a car, and at a friends...everytime I had my own bed waiting for me at home but didn't feel that it fit my mood at the time.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all types of movies. Some of my favorites are Love Actually, Sideways, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and some others that appeal to my testosterone, i.e., Natural Born Killers, Snatch, and a few others. As far as music goes there are no limits. I'm open to all genres of music, there are no boundries if the lyrics and the melody fit together well, or says something profound. In relation to books, I like to read though I don't often have the time. When I was young I started with the Goosebumps series, and it slowly progressed. I moved on to Stephen King, then to Dean Koontz, though most of his stories seem recycled. To name a few more I love James Patterson and Tom Clancy.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
For my birthday one year I got it in me to go skydiving, and that I did. From 10,000 feet in the air, a height that took nearly 20 minutes to reach, it took only 3 and a half minutes to reach the ground. I fell in love instantly, and am now aspiring to get my skydiving license and teach the skydiving.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure really, I sort of feel funny pointing out the things that I do on a day to day that I really believe that I can teach. I did however teach Martial arts for nearly 6 years. Everything else I would guess you could figure out if you read everything else that I've written.
My Interests
As I've said already, I like to write, and anything technological grabs my eye as well. I was at one time extremely dedicated to the martial arts, so they still hold my attention when seen. I love people, I'm not at all scared of the spot light, and I love all types of music.
