My name is Cody and I am a professional freelance cinematographer. I have not used couch surfing for several years but I'm interested in getting back into it and doing some more International travel!

I spend most of my time on road trips, camping, and traveling for work. I love photography and I am always shooting photographs on my adventures.

My favorite part of international travel is making new friends and having authentic, unplanned experiences. I am generally not interested in seeing museums or landmarks – the times I remember most fondly are those which I have spent meeting and conversing with new people. Sometimes we spend a whole week together, other times, maybe only a few hours. But these are times I can never forget.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling to France for a week of snowboarding Feb 2023, and Florence Italy the week after that.

I'm also very interested to meet Swedish travelers in Los Angeles, as I have a history of traveling in Sweden now and I am actively learning the Swedish language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled to and worked in Afghanistan for one month as part of a six-man film crew. I've shot music videos in Costa Rica and commercials in Alaska. Once, while working on a feature film in the American Midwest, we burned down a 100-year-old farmhouse (on purpose).
