Hello World!

I am a 21 year old student of social work currently living in beautifull Kiel, and would love to host and meet as many friendly travelers and non travelers as I possibly can so that my mind continues traveling while I'm living and studying here on the northern coast.

I grew up with a Greek artist father and an Alaskan mother in a tinly village in the south of Germany. After graduating from High School I decided to divide my planned gap year into segments as to not be completely lost in the hustle and bustle of a million new experiences.
I started out working at my grandpas sawmill in Fairbanks, Alaska then went to Seattle Washington for 3 months to full-time volunteered with 7 different social organizations. After that I explored the US by grey hound bus traveling along the coast from Washington State all the way to Key West, Florida and made my first fantastic Couchsirfing experiances.
I then moved to Kiel, a 10 hour drive from my hometown, to help organise the special olympics summer games for 3 months but instantly fell in love with this town and its people.
So now here I am, studying to become a social worker and just enjoying life :)

As every human being capable of traveling the world should be: I am positive, open minded and pretty uncomplicated (Because that's kind of a requirement for using CS)

I'm living in a small student apparment with 2 flatmates and have convinced them that we absolutely have to host Couch Surfers because it is the most amazing platform I've ever used!

I love making new friends and widening my horizons thru contact with different characters from all over the world. This is why I decided to ditch the hotels and dive right into the lives of those of you who are also interested in building friendships and learning bout different cultures and mind sets.

I have had only amazing experiences surfing in the US and hosting many people from all over the world here in Kiel.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Lat year I hiked part of the famous Camino del Norte in Spain for 3 weeks. I covered over 500km, staying in a different hostel every night. The people I met and the special lives I got to get glimpses of changed my outlook on life and gave me the courage to believe, that I can do anything I set my mind to. This deepened my thirst to explore the world which is what led me here right now!
