CURRENT MISSION

We have returned to our lives after an amazing year of travel, and are looking forward to planning and enjoying the years until we can retire and do more long trips. Meeting fellow travellers has a whole new meaing now.

ABOUT ME

Rather sedate and typical grinders with 9 to 5 jobs. We aspire to retire early with the meager pensions the government gives its employees and will then hit the road travelling full time. We are non smokers (but not rabid about it), social drinkers and keep in general good health with a few extra pounds kept in reserve just in case ;-).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted several times now and were introduced to the site by a friend who has used CS to travel the world. We couchsurfed in Nicaragua, and met many couchsurfers on our journey.

Travel and meeting other travelers. Those who travel have a real great outlook on life, and it is a wonderful experience to share with others.

Cory-Loves action movies but not averse to a deep thinking flick and is really into conspiracies. Reads anything fiction (my only escape)Music-All types espcecially Classical. Elaine-loves dance movies, Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, etc. Like books that make her think with the odd mystery or romance thrown in for good measure. Likes most music, depends on the mood.

- Seeing the hot flowing lava on Mt. Pacaya in Antigua Guatemala.
- Witnessing the sunrise from the top of Mt. Sinai in Egypt.
- Surviving a 7.3 earthquake in Roatan, Honduras.
