In June 2015, I quit my job as an academic advisor and jumped on the road for a few months, visiting 20+ national parks! I started teaching high school math again and am excited about having summers to explore. During the summer of 2016, I spent two months in Japan, traveling all over the country from Kyushu to Hokkaido! 2019: driving to Alaska!

I love Donald Miller's books (Through Painted Deserts 👌🏼) Currently reading Thomas Merton’s Seven Storey Mountain. Not much of a movie/television person, but do enjoy the Blacklist series.
My Interests
THE OUTDOORS - I greatly appreciate the silence and solitude one can find far away from the city, even though I grew up in LA 🙄🤕. I would love to live in the eastern sierras one day and maybe even consider the PCT in the future. But first the HST and JMT. MATH - I majored in the subject and now teach it to high school students. I love working with all the young minds I have the opportunity to teach!
