25 year old (My plus one is a 7 lb yorkie who I consider my unofficial service dog. He doesn’t do much, but we’re pretty codependent at this point.) looking for a new experience. Most recent occupation was a makeup artist of some sorts in the terrible world of retail.. Lately, my life revolves around music, art related to tattoos, and movies. I like to learn... Sounds silly and vague, but if something interests me or affects those that I care about.. I immediately immerse myself in all things related to said subject. Other than those things, I like helping people. I have been in some poor situations due to my past, and feel like i’m pretty relatable to most because of it. Try to remain open-minded, although i’m not perfect at it. Can guarantee i’m not lazy. Can’t really put a finger on any exact skill set I have to offer. Basically, I can do it all considering my work experience consists of customer service.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life has become a little too overwhelming. Social media, job hunting, college, pressure from family, bills/debt...I’m just about tapped out mentally and feel as though i’m drowning. I see that these problems are very minimal, but I think it’s best I put my foot down now regarding my happiness. I’d like to get back (or maybe truly experiencing for the first time) to connecting to others in real time. I’ve hopped from job to job, potential degree/certification from college, and once I get to where i’m going I still find myself miserably discontent. Could be wrong, but after reading a thing or two about motivation i’ve come to the conclusion: Once money is brought into the picture, my passion and drive fade to black on things I considered my “life’s calling.”
