ABOUT ME

Dear all :) My name is Edoardo, I am an astrophysicist, musician and science communicator.

I've been a researcher in the field of high energy astrophysics for many years. In May 2017 I quit my job and decided to go for a change. Now I work mainly with music: I teach my instrument and perform my show of music and astrophysics across Europe. Less stable but definitely much more adventurous life.

There's an incredible amount of memories here in this profile, which I purposedly do not update too much. The following quotes are from 2011, taken from a notebook of my CS host in London. It was a very intense and important time of my life, and decided to copy them here on my profile. A lifetime passed since then, but I kept them here :)

Interests

I am into science, futurism, artificial intelligence, electronic music (ambient, minimal techno).
Self improvement, in spiritual, ethical, cultural, practical ways.
I am Vegan, and I for a period of my life I mostly ate raw food. It's amazing, lot of energy and strenght and so much health. Ask me about it! :)
Since 2012 I play the handpan, which now became my profession. I also play other kind of percussions (djembe, cajon).
I like meditation and the buddhist approach to life.

Summer 2011: I was walking on a beach in Barcelona and among some tens of thousands of people I found the person I was looking for without knowing how he looked like ;)

More generally, getting Vegan, which is really something amazing and meaningful.
