current city of habitation: roma, italy
last few cities i lived in: miami beach, fl. busan, south korea. san francisco, ca. santa cruz du sol & recife, brazil
i live for: music that moves me (both literally & metaphorically), intense emotions & experiences, good spicey food, being in love, traveling
i detest: unsolicited advice, rules that have no rhyme or reason, people who hate
i'm a superstar because of my: open mind, ability to forgive
my weaknesses: my inability to stay in one place for long, my inability to forget
my vices: yummy things in excess - ALL of them ;)

my current gig: esl teacher at an international language school here in miami beach
when i grow up i want to be: a rockstar. oops, i may have missed the boat on that one. ;) guess i'll just settle for opening an english school in some tropical spanish-speaking location

Movies: I love comedies and feel good movies - The Princess Bride is probably my favorite. Oh, and anything with Johnny Depp in it.
Music: I like all types of music, but my favorites are Alternative, Pop, and Oldies. My favorite artists/bands are Bush, Prince, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Books: I go through phases. I'm currently in a Chick-Lit phase. Before that, it was sappy romances. Before that it was murder mysteries. I also love to read educational books, like right now I'm reading a book about TEFL and one about Brazil. I just finished reading "The Art of Happiness" by the Dalai Lama. Great book.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

hangliding over a beach in Rio. . . coming over the ridge after a 4-day hike to see the lost Inca city of Machu Picchu. . . sandboarding down the enourmous dunes in Peru. . . Carnival in the north of Brasil and then again in the south of Argentina. . .too many more to mention and i'm just going to keep on adding 'em!
