I am currently on a solo cross-country road trip, exploring the country through my favorite authors and stories such as Hemingway, Edgar Allan Poe, Steinbeck, Mark Twain, Kurt Vonnegut, Shirley Jackson, Flannery O'connor, Ray Bradbury, Octavia Butler, Ursula K. Le Guin, and so many others.

I have no date to end the trip, nor a fixed destination, I'm going wherever the story takes me.

I'm excited to share this journey on substack, as well as with the CS community.

I'm looking to stay in cities that have connections to writers and stories, as well as places that are off the beaten path. Looking forward to spending time with people after a long break from couchsurfing.

My requests will tend to be quite short notice, but I will do my very best not to waste anybody's time - I can be organized and improvise at the same time.

I've just started the trip a couple of weeks ago, so I hope to meet many amazing new people along the way in the next weeks to come.

I read a lot, love hanging out with friends and family (sadly my family is all back home, but on the bright side I found a whole new loving family here as well!) - believe me, if you're a great person, you'll always be surrounded by great people.

I love making jokes and laughing a lot, hosting game nights/potlucks/movie nights with friends.

I am absolutely passionate about Washington state and am more than happy to provide travelers with recommendations and tips to get around the city and the state, even if I can't host you. As I said, I'm all about traveling and hanging out with friends, but right now my schedule doesn't allow me to travel as much as I'd like to, so I'm opening my home for people who want to share their adventures with me!

If you're looking for a place to crash and shower for free, I am not your person and my home is not a hostel. I love my place and take really good care of it, so I'm sorry, but I won't accept generic requests that are sent to tons of hosts and won't host people who are not in the actual Couchsurfing spirit.
