About Me

I’ve been part of the Couchsurfing community for about 9–10 years, and it’s no exaggeration to say it has deeply shaped my life.
Over the years, I’ve hosted many travelers and been hosted a few times, and through those experiences I’ve gained far more than just stories or places visited. Couchsurfing has been an incredible way to truly know cities, cultures, and people — to connect with the real soul of places, which is something I genuinely love. Many of the people I met through this platform are still my friends today, and for that I feel truly grateful.
This profile now reflects a new chapter in my life. I used to share it with Ghosty, but we are no longer together, and it felt important to rewrite this space with honesty and intention.
What I love most about Couchsurfing is the mutual courage it takes. Opening your home to a stranger requires trust, just as stepping into a stranger’s home does. It’s very different from platforms like Airbnb — there’s no payment, no guarantees, and no clear expectations — just two people choosing openness and respect. When that trust is honored, the experience can be something truly special.
I value openness, kindness, curiosity, and real human connection. Couchsurfing continues to remind me how welcoming and open-minded this community is, and how naturally it brings together people with good hearts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couch surfing since I was 16 and have always thought is a freaking amazing tool that all of us should use at least once a year to connect with people, learn from all the different cultures, perspectives, language and everything that is out there to know. A great way to make new friends too!
Additionally I have always love to be a host of friends at my place, to some of my Mexicans friends That I invite to come visit me I joked saying "I pay people for visiting me" while it is still sarcastic, lol. But, the fact that I love to host people is true, and LOVE to help out others when I have the possibilities. So, definitely a good Couch surfer candidate 🤘🏼👍🏼

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Marry my best friend and adopt my sweet lovely dog
-Start hosting wonderful people in Couchsurfing and becoming a member of this amazing community.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe learning is always mutual. I may share stories from my years in the Couchsurfing community, perspectives shaped by travel, and insights gained through conversations with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I enjoy sharing experiences more than lessons — because meaning usually appears in the exchange, not in instruction.
I’m always open to learning from others: new ways of seeing the world, personal stories, cultural traditions, simple life wisdom, or unexpected viewpoints. I value listening just as much as speaking.
More than anything, I enjoy sharing moments — conversations, meals, walks, laughter, silence, and the kind of presence that makes an encounter feel real rather than rushed.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a guest:
I would love to help you with anything! Clean, cook, laundry. I promise I will leave everything the way I found it. Can also give Spanish clases 😁.

As a Host:
Even tho I would love to be hosting every day out of the year, I do rent my place and my landowner is not really a fan of visitors ☹️. Time is also a huge factor for me, as much as I love hosting peope I cannot host everyone who sents request (San Antonio is a busy city) thus we have to limit the people we host and availability. We hate copy n paste messages, and people who just want a free hotel so if these are your intentions please do not contact us. In our way on learning how to distribute our time hosting wisely we have decide to leave a key word on our profile so we know if you took the time to read us, please send us the word thrive on your message request to know you did. We are here to share, learn and help.
If is into my possibilities I can also offer you a ride or pick up from airport, train or bus station. Also, in my culture where "Mi casa es tu casa" 🏡 you can use my kitchen to cook (just please make sure to clean it up) and if I cook or have something to eat of course I will invite you a taco or something 😜.
