ABOUT ME

I speak English and German fluently, really advanced French, some Spanish, just started Chinese, and Arabic is on the list. I love to get to know new things and dive into cultures.
I'm very help- and thoughtful. Have you heard of Effective Altruism? You should check that out because I'm into it.
I'm a native German, have lived in the States and am living in Switzerland now to study International Relations. I want to experience places I go to and not (only) take pictures to put them on social media. Oh and I don't really like borders.

Interests

Effective Altruism.
I love sports; rowing, running if it's not alone, race biking, rock climbing and snowboarding. As well as politics and diplomatics. I also enjoy playing games or having a good read just as much as having a good debate.
And I'm vegan, if that is important to anyone, it definitely is to me. I like to cook if I have the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an editor for http://genius.com
I love lyricism and music that transfers a message. But I also appreciate real instruments - Metal and rock have been a relevant part of my playlists for ever. Both combined exists as well in rap, as in other genres. It might just be a bit more rare.
I do also listen to a fair share of jazz and classic, especially while studying.

I love reading. All time favorites are Tolkien, Paolini, Hearn, Funke, Martin, Khanna. Recently HPMOR by Eliezer Yudkowsky.

I love to share thoughts and views to broaden my mind and perception. I love to learn languages, please correct my mistakes if you're willing to. So will I help you with what I can.
I can teach how to properly ride a snowboard..
There is always something interesting to share, that to one is just a habit and not of much importance. :-)
