I’m passionate about traveling and making new friends! I am caring and want to understand other people’s life experiences and nothing makes me happier than a nice conversation over good food or drinks. I love food so much and as a New Yorker I am an avid pizza eater! I also love red wine and an old fashioned from time to time.
I like art and collecting cool things I find while traveling to hang on the wall or decorate my apartment with. Love an antique souvenir! Im a big city girl and my fav cities are Tokyo, Paris and New York but I also really enjoy getting into nature and recently learned how to surf in Sri Lanka.
In September I got married and my husband and I quit our jobs to travel until June 2023. We are having the best time! Since we have so much flexibility we like to go with the flow of our hosts plans. We’re happy to entertain ourselves but also love to hang if you have time. We are very laid back, friendly, outgoing, fun and clean. We like to give back to our hosts as well. We understand this is a lot of work to invite people into your home and we always like to do something nice in return.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people. I’m not looking for a free place to stay, I’m looking to make friends and have a shared experience! There are amazing people on this app who have blown me away with their kindness and openness and changed my life. Couch surfing has inspired me to pay forward the kindness I’ve received and be a better person.
Travel, food, cooking, camping, hiking, surfing, having a few drinks. I also love HITT workout classes like orange theory and f45.
In Brooklyn I love to host my friends on my rooftop. We do BBQs almost every week and I’d love to invite some travelers when I return home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Busan, South Korea for a year and taught English in 2016. I fell in love with the country, people and culture. Asia is my favorite continent.
Last month I didn’t get my visa for India in time so I hiked to Everest base camp very spur of the moment instead. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook and would be happy to cook for my hosts! Friendship - I keep in touch with almost everyone I meet. I love having friends around the world and can’t wait to list my place on couch surfing when I get back to Brooklyn in June!
