I'm from Missoula, Montana. I love being active and playing sports, hiking, soccer and basketball - anything. I am studying Creative Writing at the University of Montana, but am currently in the UK for a semester. Ice cream, pizza, and beer are my favorite foods (in that order) and I love being around people and learning about this big crazy world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first learned about couch surfing while on a train from Avignon to Chamonix. Our train broke down and I missed my last connecting train, leaving me stranded in Annecy, with absolutely no hotels in the area with an open room (trust me, I called). I was about to sleep on a bench in the train station when I remembered couch surfing and decided to give it a shot. A host responded to me immediately and gave me a place a safe place to sleep for the night. I was touched by the hospitality and generosity of my host, and now I can't think of a better way to travel. I am excited to start hosting once I return to Montana.
