I'm a high school English teacher in Taipei. I also love to learn all sorts of cultures, mainly through YouTube and learning new languages hehe. PHILOSOPHY I love to challenge myself, both mentally and physically because you get to learn so much about yourself when you encounter hardships and that feeling you get you've achieved something you never thought possible is just priceless.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Surfing for now, and hopefully hosting in the near future :). COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've mainly met a few people during my travels and surfed a bit. Haven't hosted anyone yet.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Anything but gore and horror. I'll get nightmares :( Music: I love everything but metal... Still trying to get it :/. It really depends on my mood. I can go from listening to Punk Rock to Trance to Classical within a few days :). Books: Everything!!! :D

Swimming in the Arctic Ocean Climbing up the glaciers and rock climbing in the Rockies (Banff, Canada). Bungee Jumping in Auckland, New Zealand.

Anything, really. I like to see non-Americanized or Westernized ways of thinking. I'm curious about your perspectives. Learning different languages and slang- not just cursewords! Learning new skills and experiences: it can be anything from learning traditional dances, to trying unusual foods.

I love to dance, even though I'm not that good at it :P. I also really love the outdoors and just walking outside. I love learning new languages, even if they aren't really that useful in my daily life. I guess it's my way of learning new cultures. I love to read and cook as well :D.
