Not all those who wander are lost, yet I'm looking for the place to be.
Was born and raised Latvian, moved to Denmark when 19, got bored of it real fast so moved to Italy. Twice. Graduated from a university in Denmark and started traveling. Once you set your foot outside your home, you realize how small the world actually is, yet how much wonderful places and people you can meet if you get yourself out there.
Finally reached the destination I had been dreaming about for years - New Zealand, even though it's been some time already that I travel not for the destination, but for the travel's sake. I usually do it on my own thus being in a discovery of the world and myself at the same time.
“I am awfully greedy; I want everything from life. I want to be a woman and to be a man, to have many friends and to have loneliness, to work much and write good books, to travel and enjoy myself, to be selfish and to be unselfish… You see, it is difficult to get all which I want.”
― Simone de Beauvoir

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was August 14, 1989 when I first saw the most amazing thing - the world. Have been trying to keep my eyes wide open ever since to see as much as possible (I guess that's the reason why I have such big eyes)!
