Daniel here, based in Lisbon. I work in business these days, but I come from an IT background, so I still think a bit like a developer and probably always will. I run a small Fado theatre, which means my routine is not exactly typical. Most days are filled with Lisbon’s sound, and most nights end late. I used to work as a city guide, so I know Lisbon well beyond the usual spots. These days I’m less focused on showing places and more interested in the people behind the journeys. I enjoy good conversations, different perspectives, and the kind of exchanges that don’t feel scripted. Outside of that, I’m into web projects, digital marketing, and writing from time to time. I like building things, testing ideas, and seeing what actually works in the real world. My schedule can get a bit intense, especially in the afternoons and evenings because of the theatre, but mornings or late nights are usually good moments to connect. I prefer meeting people who are active on Couchsurfing, with references and a genuine approach. For me it’s less about just hosting and more about sharing a bit of time, stories, and context. If you’re curious, open-minded, and bring your own perspective, we’ll probably get along just fine.
