About Me
Canadian guy trying to visit 150 countries before I turn 50! Currently at 100!
I'm a naturally extroverted person who believes life's beauty is best experienced through connection and adventure. My compass points toward nature—whether it's finding peace on a remote hiking trail or energy in a bustling local market. I thrive on genuine human exchange and value deep conversations. For me, every new person is a story waiting to be heard, and every new place is a lesson in perspective. Life is an adventure, and I'm here to live it authentically, with curiosity and kindness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I believe travel should be about human connection, not just transactions. For me, the true adventure lies in sharing stories, perspectives, and moments with a local host. I seek to move beyond the tourist surface to engage in genuine cultural exchange, learning through lived experience and deep conversation. Ultimately, I'm driven by a desire to build a global tapestry of friendships and positive interactions, transforming both your own journey and the journey of those you meet.
Interests
My greatest joy is the intersection of exploring new places and immersing myself in nature—whether that’s finding a hidden trail, observing wildlife in its habitat, or simply breathing in a unfamiliar landscape. This passion for discovery naturally extends to the table; I’m a dedicated foodie who believes that local cuisine is one of the most authentic gateways to a culture. For me, the perfect day ends with meaningful conversation, sharing stories and perspectives that deepen the entire experience, turning a simple meal or a scenic vista into a lasting connection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my most humbling experiences has been standing before 4 of the 7 Wonders of the World. Each encounter—from the majestic natural beauty of Machu Picchu to the awe-inspiring grandeur of the Colosseum—has been a profound reminder of human achievement and the timeless beauty of our planet. These moments have only deepened my wanderlust, fueling my commitment to witness the remaining wonders and the countless other marvels, both natural and man made, that exist in between. The journey itself, filled with unexpected connections and natural splendor, continues to be the greatest wonder of all.
