About Me

I’m a cheeky git who loves adventuring around the world. I grew up in Surrey, UK and studied Physics at the University here. I worked as a physicist, programmer and as a tutor. I love meeting people and exploring places and doing pretty much anything, whether that be hiking, chatting, walking around or really any kind of activity. I usually travel by hitchhiking and I find it the most fun way to travel, although occasionally I take public transport.

I recently travelled around South Asia 🇦🇫 🇵🇰 🇮🇳 🇳🇵 , the Caucasus 🇬🇪 🇦🇲 and Eastern Europe 🇵🇱 🇺🇦 , and now I’m on another journey again! After travelling all of Germany and some parts of Czechia and France, I started hitchhiking from Ireland to the UK. After I come back I can’t wait to host people and show you all around London! Let's see where the wind takes me from there 🇧🇷 🇺🇸 🇯🇵 🇬🇭 🇦🇺 🇧🇹 🇿🇦 :)

Other things I’ve done recently:
Learned the Bamboo Flute 🇳🇵(But I’m not good at it)
Fisherman’s trail in Portugal 🇵🇹
Hitchhiked all over the northern areas of Pakistan 🇵🇰
Volunteered for a bit in Chernihiv, Ukraine 🇺🇦
Travelled all over Germany with the Deutschlandticket 🇩🇪

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore the world and meet lovely people! The best experiences I had travelling ever were with Couchsurfing, and I feel a real connection to a place when I get to meet local people there and understand the culture and society :)

I heard about Couchsurfing a while ago but I only signed up very recently. Before this I was staying at random ppl’s houses. For example my first night in Afghanistan I spent in a mud house in northern Kandahar with the Taliban and a bunch of farmers. It was a fun experience!

I’m excited to meet locals from different cities and learn about your cultures, and I’m excited for you guys to come to the UK so I can show you all around Surrey and London!

Interests

Banter and having a good time. My main interest is Physics but I really like to read about ancient and medieval history, especially from Britain or anywhere in Asia. And I also like to read about philosophy, especially from antiquity and even more so from outside Greece

I’m also very curious about different cultures all over the world, and I like their music, clothing, beliefs, history, lifestyle and interactions with neighbouring peoples.

And of course I’m very interested in travelling, usually by hitchhiking, all over the world ;)
