I moved to Portugal in 2019 to do my PhD, and have been a remote worker since 2020. I decided to move to Mira in 2023 at random, because I wanted an apartment near the beach/sea and nature, and it has been a great experience so far :) Mira is a small fishing village with around 5k inhabitants. A lovely place to visit, especially during summer. We are surrounded by nature, with some trail paths, lagoons, dunes and beaches to explore. I am a bit biased but it do worth the trip if you are into this type of place :)
