As a traveler, I see Couchsurfing not merely as a means to find free accommodation but as a gateway to immerse myself in diverse communities, engage with locals, and create unforgettable memories.
The essence of Couchsurfing lies in its ability to break down barriers and cultivate understanding among people from varied backgrounds. Through hosting and being hosted, I've had the privilege of forming deep connections with individuals I might never have encountered otherwise. I believe that meeting people this way is so nice and meaningful; some of the hosts I've had in the past are still in contact with me and with some of them we've met somewhere else in the world.
