CURRENT MISSION My mission is to enjoy life and my awesome children; make the world a better and more peaceful place; travel widely to understand the world, its people and myself; be friends with people from all over the world; and create fabulous international schools. ABOUT ME I'm an adventurous, generous and kind person who loves to enjoy people from all walks of life - rich and poor; brown, black, white and every color in between; straight, gay, bisexual and transgender; Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Atheist, etc. I love connecting with people, sharing time together, learning from others and enjoying life with family and friends. Most importantly, above all, I am the very happy and proud father of three fabulous children whom I adore and love unconditionally. I enjoy cooking, entertaining and having great conversation over dinner and wine. I also enjoy dancing, traveling, camping, hiking, biking, reading, swimming and bathing in the sun on the beach. Professionally, I am passionate about creating fabulous international schools in which children and young people from diverse backgrounds come together to learn in engaging and dynamic learning environments. Currently, I am serving as Head of School for New York Academy in Hyderabad.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music. My favorite genres are indie and classic rock, and jazz. In the movies category, my favorites are dramas and thrillers. Historical fiction and romance novels are at the top of my reading list.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I taught 32 Amish and Mennonite students in grades one through eight in a one-room schoolhouse when I was 18 years old.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn from others and am happy to share with others in any way I can. Probably the best way in which I can share is by opening my home and heart to people of all kinds from all over the world. I consistently hear from my guests that one of the best parts of their stay with me is that they feel at home in my home and enjoy meeting other guests. Guests frequently enjoy going together out on the town, on desert safaris, and to sites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The best part for me is that I get to meet and enjoy amazing people from all around the world. Everyone loves hanging out on the balcony, talking, eating, drinking and enjoying the view of the Marina.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I enjoy cooking. I can share about my upbringing in a conservative Mennonite and Amish community. I love to discuss all sorts of topics, especially education - it's my passion.
My Interests
I enjoy reading thought-provoking opinion pieces on a wide range of topics and great novels. I'm fascinated by politics, history and current events unfolding in the world. I also love going to the movies and finding myself in another world. Traveling, exploring the world and education are among my greatest interests. And delicious food, red wine and dark chocolate!
