Hey there! My name is Danielle and I absolutely love travelling and outdoor activities. So far I have travelled to Central america and South East Asia and will be in Scotland and Ireland for three months starting in a couple of weeks. My sister and I will be conquering a number of long distance hikes across Scotland and hope to spend time in Ireland as well. I'm easy going, adventurous and passionate about keeping life interesting!

While I'd love to be able to live the high life, it's just not realistic for a student. So I'm looking for different ways to stay within budget! Plus couch surfing seems like a better way to meet locals and really appreciate where I am as opposed to a hotel.

Ever since I was a kid I've always enjoyed being outside and trying out new sports or challenges! I was raised in a sports oriented family and therefore played sports my whole life and loved them. Volleyball was my favourite, second now to hiking. I'm a dog person, but I still love cats. Just your average Canadian girl! I love a good pub beer and a game of California kick ball, but don't get me wrong I know how to relax too! And trust me I love doing that as well.

I hiked the largest volcano in Nicaragua! It took us 10 hours altogether but the view and the pulled groin was well worth it.

I'm travelling right now with my sister to further my personal growth while also achieving some goals of seeing Ireland and Scotland that I've had since I was young. You can learn so much from meeting new people and immersing yourself into different cultures and countries, so I'm here to learn! I'll offer up whatever knowledge I can wherever it may be needed.
