About Me

To experience life and all it has to offer.

I love travelling and meeting new people, and couch surfing seems like a wonderful idea, and brings together so many things that I love about human beings and what we are capable of.

I like to think I'm a pretty chilled out and down to earth person, I enjoy the beautiful outdoors, live music, hanging out with friends and like a good party too, I'm usually the last one on the dance floor!

I love travelling and meeting new people, I have lived in South Africa, Denmark and Malawi.

I'm back living in London now for the time being, working as a video producer and editor.

Its never too late to be what you could have been.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I have hosted a few times, and I have surfed in Hamburg and Portugal and America, so far they have all been great experiences. I love the concept and think its a great way to break the mould of being a clueless tourist, and interact with people around the world on a much better level.

I am about to move house into one with a separate lounge, so I look forward to hosting more in London soon.

Live music, photography, cinematography, documentaries, stand up comedy, dancing, walking, lively conversation, festivals.

Music, Movies & Books

I really love all sorts of music, from folk, reggae, electronica, dub step, drum and bass, lately been listening to Brian Jonestown Massace, The Black Keys, Pretty Lights, Paul Basic, Peaking Lights, Noir Desir.

Talk to Her, Fargo, Before Sunrise, Little Miss Sunshine, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, The Bicycle Thieves, Apocalypse Now.

Reading Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts at the moment, really making me want to visit India. Just finished John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath which took me a while to get through, but was well worth the wait - brilliant book.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Climbing a volcano in Java, Indonesia in the pitch black at 4am, cooking eggs for breakfast in the hot rocks of the volcano, reaching the top for sun rise and sitting down only to see the Volcano a few hundred meters away from us erupt right right then and there was pretty mind blowing!

Road tripping through the Namibia desert, with a few mishaps along the way - getting two flat tires in the middle of nowhere was interesting, espically as we didn't have working tools!

Going to Burning Man - one of the craziest, mind blowing places on the planet!

Countries I've Visited

Indonesia, Namibia, Singapore, Thailand, United States, Zimbabwe

Countries I've Lived In

Denmark, Malawi, South Africa, United Kingdom
