My biggest passion is travelling.

I never tried to define my philosophy of life, ok, let me try: everything needs time, in the end you will understand all that you wanted to know. I dunno if it works, but at least I hope so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am visiting Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore from April to June 2013.
This time I am travelling alone, I dont mind, but sometimes I will be happy for a company, a place where to stay few days. My best friend, who made similar trip 2 years ago told me: Dani, try couchsurfing, as far as I know you, you will love it!

I can offer you the same in Prague, capital of Czech Republic, or at least I can bring you a little piece of our central european culture to your home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my flat had been a home for many of my friends, who I met around the world even before couchsurfing even existed. Oficcially I am new here, so without any evidence, however let me tell you how e.g. my next week looks like: WED 26.3.2013 I am meeting a girl from Chicago in Prague, Czech Republic to be her buddy and show her the city and introduce her my friends THU 27.3. a friend from Western Bohemia comes to stay in my flat, water the flowers, sleep there for 2 or 3 nights, do his activities and paint a large picture for me in return - this is how he does it for last 2 months already. Only during last year i accomodated 1 Spanish guy, one Chilean guy, 1 Italian, 1 Polish, 1 Malaysian and guided the city of Prague to 1 Iranian and 1 Canadian guy. And I was not a member of couch surfing yet, I just met those people in Prague or on my trips in the world.

Interests

in-line skating,hiking, skiing, swimming, jogging, cycling

modern art in painting - nono, I dont paint, I prefer to watch and admire paintings (mainly 20 century)in galleries, I admire painters too!

architecture - every house or building is an object, that we will watch for next at least 50 or more years. So I watch very carefully demolisions of old houses - I agree only on condition that the new building is gonna to be for sure far better and more inspirative than the old one

theatre - jo! no matter if drama/comedy,opera or even ballet - not much experience with the latter two,so this is a big challenge to explore it!

Music, Movies, and Books

music - mainly world music, cuban, gipsy, french, african american jazz and soul

movies - movies that really move you, so that you leave the cinema changed inside - so independent movies, student debuts - I am a big fan of international movie festivals

books - classical Russian literature Dostoyevski, modern latinoamerican, spanish and french literature, but not much time for it these days

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My univesity years were one amazing thing in my life!

Travelling is another one. I visited 36 countries so far.

Singing in a choir brings you good vibrations, you are a part of something that you create.

Gipsy music brings me to another world.

But the best, really the best thing you can do is to work in your garden: prepare the vegetable beds, seed the plants, prune the trees, look after them, water them, observe how they prosper and harvest. (actually harvesting is quite sad, once you pick the apple, the apple tree looks somehow empty).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: languages that I know, in-line and ice skating, skiing, cooking
Learn: whatever you teach me! And I am also curious and would like to learn, what you think about Europe, Czech republic and my countrymen!
Share: the interests, i like to share the thoughts and assosiations that come across my mind, and I like listening to other people opionions and reasons why they think so
