I wake up every morning and say, "It's my day!" I'm practicing the philosophy of " Love is All there is." I'm a happy person and I'm amazed by life. I love to share. I enjoy cooking, touching the earth, traveling, skiing, hiking, biking, hot tubbing, storytelling, and putting myself in the way of beauty.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've traveled the world and stayed in many people's homes over the years. it was not couch surfing as it is today. But wherever I've been it's been pretty easy to make friends and be invited to stay. I've enjoyed learning about people and where they live firsthand instead of staying in hotels room isolated and by myself. It's a lot more fun.

兴趣

Skiing is my primary sport so I spend most of the winter in the mountains in the snow. My homes you resort is Whistler BC but the closest ski resorts are those in Lake Tahoe (my favorite are Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Northstar on the north shore.). Through the year I enjoy the woods and I live in the midst of forest next to Annadel state park so I can be outside "playing" with nature every day. I enjoy cooking and being with people.

Here we are! This is it. And so I am present in the now. You might consider this a Buddhist kind of place to be but it seems be the only place we are and I'm very happy about it.
So I enjoy almost all kinds of music with my least favorite being country and rap.
I enjoy an eclectic mix of literature. A Couple of books I like and have given as gifts are The Holy Man and the Alchemist. I like most movies but have to jokingly say my favorite is Dude, Where's My Car?

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This is a great question. What is considered great? One ost recent thing I've done that I'm really glad I did was build a memorial fountain to my wife out of a 900 pound hexagonal basalt column 3 feet high next to a beautiful deck that catches the last of the sun on my property and overlooks the tops of the oaks and ridgelines beyond. It wasn't on any list but it got done and I'm proud of it and it is always there as a touchstone.

Open minded curious and life loving people are my favorite. This type of person seems to usually have a smile on their face and follows the Four Agreements of 1)) being impeccable with their words, 2)not taking things personally, 3) not making assumptions, and 4) always doing their best.

I can share my company and knowledge of San Francisco and Sonoma Valley and the surrounding country north from the golden gate bridge through Marin County and most of Sonoma County and North and along the coast into the redwoods. I can share trails to waterfalls, hikes that are easy or challenging, and a hot spa at the beginning and end of every day.
