Born in Poland, raised in Belgium (Brussels). Spent some time in Denmark, too.
Studied fine arts, graduated in videography and currently working for an audiovisual art centre (https://visit.argosarts.org/), while maintaining my own practice of video, writing and performance.
Unconditionally in love with Brussels in all its highs and lows.
Escaping regularly for hikes in nature.
One day I'll live in a tiny house at the top of a cliff by the sea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've made a profile years ago in order to get to know people while travelling alone. It allowed me to get to know the place I was visiting more in depth, connect to it and to the people I crossed.

While hosting people at my place, I enjoy talking and learning new things/perspectives; (re)discovering parts of life/Brussels together.

Since I have a second couch/bed in my very spacious room, I'm open to let travellers crash. Preferably not longer than 2 nights. There's also a very soft couch in the common living room (see Ⓜⓨ ⓗⓞⓜⓔ).

Interests

Long-time lover of good cinema (obviously) and experimental film scene.
If not crossing the city by bike, I'd be reading a book on public transport.
Practicing qi gong and yoga almost daily, bouldering not so much anymore but would love to get back to it.
With a bass guitar on my side since 2018.
When traveling: I like to film in miniDV and/or take analog pictures with a fully manual Pentax camera.
