About Me

CURRENT MISSION
FULLY VACCINATED (3 doses Pfizer)
Mission? I still wonder what it is!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AS FOR OCTOBER 2024:
despite my current committments in looking after my old parents, I'm still trying to host, whenever possible. I will always answer a request; you will have more chances if you read and take note of the following:

a) Travellers who want to stay more nights, who want to visit my hometown, who want to spend some of their time with me will be always the welcome, and I’ll try to accept their requests every time I can.

b) Travellers who just want to sleep for a night, arriving late in the evening and leaving the early morning after, might try all the same to send a request, but hosting people who take Couchsurfing just as a free hostel it's not exactly the reason for I'm still active on this platform.

c) People who just want information (about how to get to the port/the airport/the beach, about the best restaurants etc. etc.) without wanting to stay at my place or even to meet me (I received many of these requests in the last years) PLEASE ABSTAIN from writing me: I’m not a tourist bureau and this kind of messages will be simply ignored.

d) As a host, I write references only after knowing that my guest wrote theirs (if a guest doesn’t find it important to spend a few minutes to leave a feedback, why should I ?)

Interests

I'm curious about what happens in the world, in social life as well as in politics, economics, etc. etc.
I like travelling, learning foreign languages (but I have a few opportunities to practise them, alas), practising some sport (mainly swimming and tennis), reading books (mainly classics, essays on politcs and economics, science fiction novels) and comics (Marvel above all) and playing chess.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Many, too many" ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Joining Couchsurfing, maybe ?

Teach, Learn, Share

Maybe I could teach you a basic chess; as for learning, the answer could be, once again, almost everything. Probably I should learn how to do practical works, but I'm afraid I could be a bad student!
