Hi I'm Darren, I'm 21 years old and I'm enrolled at the University of Toronto, taking a double major in Human Biology and Environmental Science. I'm born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. I have always been interested in visiting Japan and now I'm finally able to visit Japan with my best friend. We are both fluent in English, and we recently started to learn Japanese but are unable to speak, read or understand it yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to Japan for 50 days starting from June 13th to August 2nd with my other friend Kevin. We are looking to make friends and as we are not familiar with the area, we would love to experience the vast amount of culture Japan has to offer with our host.
