Go forward, follow instincts, regret nothing
I like learning random information.
i roam often.
i like tea. typically have 3 pounds on hand, and a kickass robot tea infuser.
I love being outdoors and my newest obsessions are yoga and rock climbing. running is my meditation.
I work in a veterans hospital doing all sorts of things for all sorts of people (aka i dont really know exactly what I do). Im super excited to start growing vegetables again, but want to do it on a larger scale this year, and tie this into the hospital and cooking.
I make ridiculous shrimp tacos, grilled cheeses, and crepes. I was crashing on a french dude's couch in san francisco and he taught me the crepe recipe. Over the years, I've decided that he might have been an alcoholic, but he told me the most important ingredient is rum. I think he meant for the recipe, but I apply it to everything.
I want to build a house out of tires. or live in a hill. Like a hobbit.
I enjoy people- meeting, interacting, discovering, exploring, questioning, discussing, touching, observing.
I try to live life without regrets, and try to learn from mistakes to be wiser in the future.
I want to visit Marionville missouri because I am obsessed with squirrels...
Oh, and I dance on tables.
Nothing in the past can be changed, so there's no sense in getting all worked up. Just learn and move forward.
I would say regarding life- you are only what you make yourself. If you are unhappy with something, do what is necessary to change it. There are way too many amazing things to see and places to go, people to meet, books to read, foods to eat, beaches that must be danced on, and couches to be slept on for someone to be unhappy.
"While there is a lower class, I am in it, while there is a criminal element, I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free."
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. teach a man to fish, feed him for a life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted out of my dorm room as much as I could in 2008. I have hosted probably 50 people during that year, and have surfed with about 10 others. Recently, I have not been traveling and cannot really host, so I decided to become more active in the huntington and long island couchsurfing communities. we freaking rock.
I hosted like 50 people when I lived in Boston.
I couchsurfed a bunch through hawaii, montreal, richmond, VA, portland, OR, and Seattle, WA.
I participated in the huntington, ny CS community.
