Hello, I'm David. I'm a calm, friendly, peacefull, optimistic and open-minded person. I am flegmatic, sometimes a dreamer. I'm a light introvert, but I try to be more communicative and active. I love mountains and nature. I really enjoy running, to me it feels almost like flying. I like to explore and learn new things and to teach them to others. I like thinking about philosophic questions and solving interesting problems.

Music, Movies, and Books
Here are a few examples of my everchanging collection of music, movies and books to give you a taste of what I like. The genre isn't that important, if it's interesting or enriching, i'm always open. MUSIC: I tend to listen to all sorts of music and I think it's a great opportunity to explore different emotions through music. Most of the music I'm listening to is happy or energetic, but some calm relaxing music is often also a good choice. Classical music - mainly Beethoven and Mozart. Instrumental/Soundtrack music - Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Two Steps From Hell. Relaxing/Ambient music - MrSuicideSheep Rock - Green Day, Skillet, Linkin park, Guardians of the Galay Soundtrack, Magic Man Metal - System of a down, Slipknot, Blue Stahli Game soundtracks - Undertale, Fez, Journey, Ori and the Blind Forest, Super Smash Bros, Waterflame Dubstep - Lindsey Stirling Indie pop - Opus Orange And other... MOVIES: I haven't seen many movies (we don't have a TV), so I'm always open to good suggestions. Intouchables, Inception, Modern Times, Forrest Gump, Indie game. Red Dwarf, The Big Bang Theory, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Theory of Everything, Up. BOOKS: Toby Lolness (you should read this book, it's wonderfull :-), Vango, Fantasy books (The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter), 1948.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I went to the top of the mountain Königskopf. It was not the highest mountain I've been on, but it was definitely the hardest one.
Teach, Learn, Share
I wrote a thesis on the Use of Windpower and a thesis about Fractals, so I know pretty much about those topics. I also have decent knowdlege in computer programming. I can also share my experiences from my stay at a Camphill and hospice and several 10-day sailing-trips (cca 18 people on board). I can share my experiences from my travels to different places (recently I've been to denmark and Sweden with two of my classmates). Oh, and I'm a native german speaker.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can share a listening ear and my positive and settled attitude.
