About Me

Hello There! :)

My Name is Kantati and over the last Year i hosted many people in my home in Peru.

Now i will be travelling to Istanbul together with my girlfriend Anita :) She did some research there in 2024 and we are now travelling there together to attend a wedding.

We are two musicians at heart. Anita is also a musicologist and i work as a social worker.
We are very open minded and easy going and always love to be in harmony with others. We try to bring good vibes and good talks and are also very passionate about cooking. So if you can host us, we would definitely prepare something delicious for you :)

I am a very experienced Couchsurfer and hosted many people last year when i lived in Peru. I really loved it and now i am travelling myself and hope to be accepted into some beautiful homes. My philosophy about couchsurfing is not "find a free stay and leave again". Contrary to that i try to live the original spirit of Couchsurfing. Finding new friends and connect culturally. Learn something about the places i go through the eyes of a local. Enjoy some good music, food or conversations and create a friendship that hopefully lasts a lifetime :)

I found many many amazing people on Couchsurfing and hope to find more in Istanbul!

I never planned to go there but Anita asked me to join her and now i'm really excited. So please. Let us get to know you :)))

See you soooon <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i adopted a peruvian street dog and will bring him
to europe! <3

i did social work in peru <3

i saw humpback wales from close range and (while filming) drowned a drone in the pacific ocean thinking i could land it back on the (moving) boat. i'll never forget the beeping sound the control made when the signal was cut.... R.I.P. Glidy 2023 - 2023 ✝️ *beep beep*

i freedived in indonesia and the philippines (yes i'm also a freediver haha)

i hitchhiked from peru to the north of ecuador without any money playing music in the streets and living on the beach. without tent - it was rough - especially the rainy nights as i had to build an improvised roof with wood and a plastic that i found on the beach (it obviously had holes) check my fotos for a glimpse jaja

and a lot more.

let's just share stories when you are here! im sooo looking forward to hearing yours :)! <3

Teach, Learn, Share

i think i can teach a lot of things :)
i think everyone can! so i'm looking forward to sharing and learning.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- we can share a laugh
- we can share experiences

- we can learn together
