About Me
Hey! I’m David. I work remotely in IT and have been doing it for about five years, which lets me travel pretty often. I’ve spent time in places like Japan and Hawaii, and I really enjoy getting to know each place beyond the tourist spots.
I’m a chill traveler. I like seeing the highlights, but what really makes a trip memorable for me is connecting with locals and understanding what life’s actually like there. I love hearing people’s perspectives on local culture and issues, and just having real conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to meet new people, experience places like a local, and make some friends along the way. I won’t lie, saving some money helps but for me, it’s much more about the cultural exchange and human connection.
Interests
Traveling, scuba diving, food (big foodie), checking out local drinks, exploring the outdoors (but I wouldn’t call myself “outdoorsy”), and I’m also a bit of a video game nerd.

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of Music. Local bands and live shows are always a fun thing to check out while traveling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Picking up scuba diving has been an awesome reason to travel and see the world... even under water
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, curiosity about your culture and daily life, and probably a few funny stories from my travels. I’m respectful, easygoing, and always try to leave people and places better than I found them... and maybe a six pack of beer
