I'm born and raised in N.Y. and moved to Amsterdam in 1985 where I'm working as a professional musician. I have done extensive traveling both on vacation and as a musician. I try to combine the two. If I'm on tour and the situation allows it, I'll try to stay for a while after the work is over. My favorite country to travel in is India. A magical place. Beautiful colors, smells, people, landscapes. Lots of poverty, but even more beauty and I have always felt extremely safe even in the middle of a huge city. People are always very happy to meet you especially in the smaller towns and the South in particular. I like my coffee a lot. I drink almost no alcohol and use no drugs. If you're coming to Amsterdam to party hearty and/or use hard drugs, please find another place to stay. It's your vacation (and you can do what you want) BUT if you find another place to sleep during your stay at my home, please send me an app by 3am or so. Recently, a guest ate a half a space cake.
