Hi friends ! Me and my girlfriend Roxanne are two happy Québec travelers on a long journey through the whole American continent. This travel carry an ecological and social mission. We want to share through Your Wonderland, our travel blog on social media that is it possible to travel on a sustainable way. First, we want to avoid using planes and cars by hitchhiking from Montreal to Tierra del Fuego in Chile. Second challenge, our zero waste way of life will follow us during this trip. Then, in every area visited, we want to share through videos on our channel, local initiatives that are positives on a social and ecological level. How much time will this journey last ? Good question! It started in November 2018 and will last until we ends up at our final destination. We want to take our time in every places visited and having a total immersion in the different cultures. Once back, a documentary about the whole project will be made to inspire people back home. We always wanted to have a positive impact in this world and Your Wonderland allow us to do this while doing our favorite thing, travelling full time :)

We are using couchsurfing in this project because it’s the easiest way to be able to meet people and immersing ourselves in the culture of the place. We want to talk to people, make friends and share laughs. We also want to show through our online community that trust is a beautiful gift to give and receive. That’s, for us, the main mindset of couchsurfing. A sense of trustfulness and generosity that bond people together. That’s how we see this beautiful app.

兴趣

We have multiple interests. Myself, I’m passionate about politic, sport, technologies, spiritualities and about human itself. I’m expecting to start university after the trip in anthropology for learning more about our species. I’m easily enthusiast about everything you are going to talk about and I have a deep interest about learning new things.
Roxy: I love the great outdoor , camping and everything about it. But I also like to go out have fun and enjoy the life! I graduated in IT so I have a lot to talk about everything technologie related. Travel is however one of my my biggest passion and discovering new places keeps me going. I'm always looking for new adventure that would take me out of my comfort zone !

This journey is not only about our blog, but also about our own cultural, psychic and spiritual development. We are on a quest to learn things that doesn’t exist back where we live. Cultures, languages, skills and even people are the very core of our learning process while travelling. In exchange, we want to share what we know and our smile.
