ABOUT ME Hi there! I am 25 years old, now live in a city called Hradec Králové (aprox 100k inhabitants). As it´s so nice and picturesque city, it´s sometimes a bit small, so lately the urge to travel and discover is getting bigger and bigger :-) Me and my girlfriend Markéta, we would like to experience the world together as we made several journeys, unfortunately yet separately. We both don´t mind hitch-hiking and sleeping under the stars, but it´s not always the easiest nor pleasant way to enjoy the trip, so...

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
...that´s basicaly why I try to recover my old couchsurfing account. We are going to land in Porto in a month (May, 2017) and we would like to find some good souls, who would offer us a bed and of course some tips about the city and state. It´s not just about this trip to Porto, we want to use services of this awesome platform further more for not yet planned journeys :-) Why to buy paper guides when you can get advices from real residents? What could be possibly better, right?
Music, Movies, and Books
It´s impossible to answer and you know it! Marketa is huge music lover. Last year sh brought me to the best czech festival Colours of Ostrava, almost against my will. But I coudn´t be more wrong...It was by far my best expereince when we talk about music. Not just the festival itself, but finding out so much different generes, styles...If I was about to say that "I like every kind of music..." after this fest the truthfulness of this statement doubled. Actually I can say almost the same about movies and books. I don´t mind to watch zombie postapocalyptic horror and La La Land in the same day....to be honest I doubt a bit about Fast and Furious 52, maybe it´s already a bit much. And I tried to read hard at high school, now I read current literature, but less then I should. Now reading: Fall of Man in Wilmslow by David Lagercrantz Now listening to: The Do, De Staat, Flogging Molly Latest movie enjoyed: Showdown at Horseshoe Hell
One Amazing Thing I've Done
My relatinship with Markéta ;-) and also my career as a freelancer. It requires some serious patience to recieve work offers on a weekly basis. First months I was just writing cover letters, houdnreds and houndreds. Finally I got a first job! Aaand it wasn´t video editing, no translation...it was data entry :-) good enough for me. After that it gets faster and faster to get more jobs and projects. Now it´s an year and I am still not where I would like to be, but I am kind of proud that I didn´t quit, maybe it´s not that amazing, but I still hope that it will make my living full one day :-)
