Music, Movies, and Books
I love System of a Down, the music, the lyrics, the people. Then hordes of other bands - britpop, rock, electro, hip-hop, basically anything that lifts my spirits, anything inspiring. The same for books. I love theatre so I read dramas. But I read all genres. All kinds of films that broaden your horizons. Chris Nolan's supersmart pieces.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a linguist, so I'm naturally interested in learning/discussing any language. I can explain the secrets of our beautiful yet difficult Czech language. I'm also good at sports (tennis, floorball) so I can share my experience.
My Interests
My hobbies are sports, languages, music, film and theatre, and, believe it or not, travelling. I used to play tennis for 13 years and I have been playing floorball for quite some time. I co-write short theatrical plays with a friend of mine and we perform them around the country. It's fun and we have great feedback! I love languages in general as I studied linguistics. I studied English and Spanish at university, now I'm starting to learn Polish. As a Czech person, it is unthinkable if I didn't like beer and nice pubs! I love pubs that have a great cosy atmosphere and are visited by local people. It's one of the best ways to suck in the culture of the particular country.
