Hello! Big fan of CS and the community here. I love pretty much anything outdoors and consider myself a very active person - whether that be backpacking, climbing, cycling, playing basketball, volleyball, or frisbee or just going for a run. Personality wise, I love meeting new people and would consider myself an extroverted introvert. I love talking to people and hearing what I can learn from then and what they have to share - we're social animals and I consider human connection to be a pretty awesome thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet locals. I want a more authentic travel experiences where I actually get to meet the people of the places I'm travelling to. I'm a big fan in general of the exchange of culture, ideas, interests, etc. Firm believer that we have so much to learn from each other - I'm happy to just sit there, listen and absorb. In a nutshell, I'm here to expand my worldview by meeting others interested in the same thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Into the Wild, Ishmael, Born to Run

Movies: Not a huge movies guy but I especially like classics like 12 Angry Men

Music: Music is such a huge influence in my life. I'll listen to and appreciate any genre but my favorite fall under the alternative umbrella: folk rock, indie folk, indie pop, etc. Some of my more well known favorite bands include The Avett Brothers, The Head and the Heart, and the Lumineers.
