Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love the concept. I look forward to meeting new people as I host and utilize Couchsurfer for trips myself. I also feel that couchsurfing helps build a better traveling and living community and love contributing to that.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite genre: Ambient Favorite book: The Humans-Matt Haig: An alien saves the universe from earth, but falls in love with earth. Simply fantastic. Honorable Mention: Ray of the Star Favorite Movie: Baraka: I love movies where the message is conveyed without words. Baraka has no words, yet a lovely message.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Worked in the North slope oil field. I have seen the artic ocean with ice on it in june and the sun that doesn't set and it was a bit alien, but very cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
English is my native tongue so I am happy to teach it to others. I am very interested in learning as many languages as I can and seeing how languages shape culture and vice versa.

I know a mean red lentil curry and I'm great with rice and beans :).
