I am from Manchester and I currently live here in the city centre with my girlfriend. I have British and Irish nationality, so learning about different cultures is always interesting for me. Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsuring is a great way to save money while travelling. Instead of spending a lot of money on a hostel or hotel, people can see another city or have a cool experience, which is a great thing. But it's also an amazing experience to stay with a local in a foreign country. Whenever I have hosted someone or travelled with Couchsurfing, I have met interesting people with great stories to share.

I studied literature at university, and I love reading horror stories, science fiction and anything that's a bit different. Same for movies. I listen to all kinds of music, but my favourite is British indie rock and punk: Joy Division, The Verve, The Charlatans, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, The Stone Roses and many more.
